Do you have any plans for the eve of St. Patrick’s Day? Naperville is holding their annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday, March 16, at 10 a.m.
The parade starts at Naperville North High School and travels throughout downtown Naperville: south on Mill Street, east on Jefferson Avenue, south on Main Street and west on Water Street to the Municipal Center.
Don your favorite green sweater or tee-shirt, weather permitting, and set up camp along the parade route and celebrate the Irish way!
Additionally, for those looking to burn some calories before eating all that corn beef and cabbage this weekend, the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise, along with West Suburban Irish, are hosting their annual , run or walk. The event will take place at 8 a.m. right before the parade.
The will use a professional timing service, which will ensure accuracy in race time. If you register before race day, you’ll receive a Technical Running Shirt. You may still register for the race on the day of the event. However, there are 3,000 available spaces for participants, so make sure to register as soon as possible to ensure a spot.
The proceeds from the will go toward providing health related services to those in need. Tie up those running shoes and sport your green sports attire for a fun, morning run!
Whether you want to run a couple miles or just celebrate the day of the Irish, come out to downtown Naperville. At the Naperville CVB, we wish you a fun and safe St. Patrick’s Day!
